A wonderful late 1940's or early 1050's LeCoultre Powermatic automatic wristwatch in stainless steel with beautifully aged original factory printed dial with power reserve indicator housed in a 34mm diameter case.  I just love the late Art Deco look of these old Powermatic with that clear red low power reserve indicator on the dial.  This example is all original and unpolished showing sigs of gentle wear throughout.  The Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 481 bumper style automatic movement is in excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically, freshly serviced here at Meticulous and keeping excellent time, ready to wear!

Circa: 1940's/50's

Style: Art Deco, Mid-Century

Case: Solid stainless steel case measuring 34mm in diameter excluding the original unsigned stainless steel crown with sculpted and faceted lugs fitted with a medium brown 18mm strap. Fully signed inside Acier Inoxydable, LeCoultre Co, Swiss. Light surface wear throughout.

Dial: Fantastic two-tone factory printed original dial with fancy sunburst stylized hour numbers and markers, with power reserve indicator just below 12 o'clock.  The dial has a lovely even tropic patina, signed LeCoultre Automatic.  The matching dauphine style hands have some patina but match the character and age of the watch to perfection.

Movement: In-house designed and manufactured Jeager-LeCoultre calibre 481 bumper style automatic movement with power reserve indicator, with an early balance protection shock system on the balance.  Signed LeCoultre Co, Automatic, 17 Jewels, Unadjusted, Swiss, 481 with import mark VXN.  Freshly served here at our Meticulous workshop, keeping excellent time with our full 1-year mechanical warranty.
