A gorgeous vintage 1970 Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master with Pepsi bezel and Mark 1 dial housed in a solid stainless steel case with original Oyster bracelet, powered by the famous Rolex caliber 1570 automatic movement, freshly serviced here at Meticulous and ready to enjoy!!

Case: Solid stainless steel case measuring 40mm in diameter excluding the original signed crown and guards with period correct blue/red Pepsi style service insert showing light signs of wear. The case is in very nice lightly polished condition, fully signed inside the back Montres Rolex SA, Geneva, Switzerland, Patented, Stainless Steel, 1675, III.70 (3rd 1/4 of 1970 production date). The serial number, stamped between the lugs at 6 o'clock, is in the 2.8 million range also dating it to approximately 1970. The original Oyster bracelet model 7836 with 280 endlinks is also in excellent gently used condition with 13 total links including the endlinks, and will fit up to a 7 inch wrist. A new plastic crystal was installed and the watch is testing waterproof at the time of service.
Dial: Stunning factory printed original Mark 1 matte black dial in excellent cosmetic condition, fully signed Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT-MASTER Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified, Swiss - T<25 with matching original hand set. I believe that the luminous on both the dial and hands may have been redone at some point in its history as I see no signs of tritium flecks under black light. If true, it is beautifully done by a skilled hand and looks superb and sharp on the wrist even to a discerning eye.
