Here we have a very cool all original 1933 oversize Longines tank style timepiece in superb overall condition looking as stylish today as it did in the store window almost 80 years ago!! Gota love that red 12 highlighting the sharp Art Deco style dial, framed by the strong wide rectangular bezel. In typical Longines tradition at the time, the case is unsigned other then a serial number on the back which corresponds to the same number on the movement, reassuring us that it is an all original piece. This watch has survived a long time in remarkably good condition inside and out and is running strong since our watchmaker completed the service not long ago. A beautiful Art Deco classic from the famous house of Longines, Switzerland.

Case: Large two piece chrome plated case with hinged back and wide bezel measuring 26mm by 40mm excluding the crown. Signed on the back with the serial number matching the one on the movement and dating it to 1933. A couple of minor scuff on the back, but overall in superb all original condition. The hinge on the back has been stretched slightly over time but the case does still snap together very nicely. Comes on a nice wide 20mm strap giving it a great presence on the wrist.
Dial: Original factory printed dial with bright red 12, outer minute track and small seconds at 6:00. Signed Longines, Swiss Make.
Movement: High grade Longines manual wind movement caliber 10.68Z signed 15 Jewels, Swiss Made. Nice gold jewel chatons and black tempered plate screws show you how much care was made in finishing this top quality movement. Recently serviced by our watchmaker and in excellent working condition.
