One of the cooler designs by Elgin in the 1950's this "coin-edge"style case and textured dial combine to give it a very classy look. The dial does have some ageing marks and the case some wear, but along with the nice inscription on the back I think it all adds to its great sense of history. Mr. Usher worked a very long time before he was presented with this watch and it looks like he enjoyed his gift for many years to come. You won't find anything like in stores today.
