VERY cool and colorful vintage Wittnauer diver style automatic calendar with rare sunburst dial and rotating bezel. This is a classic 1970's oversize retro wristwatch in all stainless steel measuring 37.5mm wide by 46mm top to bottom and comes on the original high quality Wittnauer folding clasp bracelet. The dial is original factory printed and spectacular with yellow, orange, white and silver details on the flat two-tone grey/black background with desirable day and date feature at 3:00. This timepiece is in all original condition including the signed crown and looks awesome on the wrist, a real conversation piece to say the least. They don't come around very often looking this good, so don't miss it!!

Case: Huge solid stainless steel screw back case with inset rotating orange/black/silver acrylic filled bezel, original Wittnauer bracelet and two tone brushed/polished finish. The main bezel measures 37.5mm wide excluding the crown by 46mm top to bottom. Inside the back stamped Wittnauer Watch Co. British Crown Colony, Hong Kong, Stainless Steel with model Ref. #1003-W100.
Dial: Spectacular original factory printed exploding style dial with date/day aperture at 3:00 signed Wittnauer Automatic, Japan.
Movement: Fully automatic calendar movement made by the Seiko Watch Corp caliber W100. Signed Wittnauer Watch Co. 17 Jewels, Unadjusted, Japan. These may not be the highest "grade" movements ever produced, but anyone that has ever worn an old Seiko knows they seem to run forever. The step by step winding system is much like what you find in a top quality IWC or Longines automatic. An interesting note is that the watch can only be wound automatically and not using the crown. Quick set date feature by pulling the crown out one step, and full setting mode at the second step. Recently serviced by our watchmaker and in excellent working condition, keeping great time.
