A beautiful vintage 1987 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date women's wristwatch in solid stainless steel with a beautiful black dial, complete will all of its original and matching outer and inner boxes, hang tag, warranty card and sales receipt, originally purchased a Birks of Canada in 1988. Freshly serviced here at Meticulous and keeping great time, this timepiece is ready to wear! It is in lovely all original vintage condition showing light wear throughout with some stretch in the Jubilee style bracelet and is very comfortable on the wrist. Tested fully waterproof at the time of service with a new sapphire crystal installed.

Case: Solid stainless steel case and bracelet with engine-turned textured bezel and a lovely bushed/polished lightly used finish. The case measures 26mm in diameter excluding the original signed screw-down crown with 13mm lug spacing fitted with its original Jubilee style bracelet. The watch will fit up to a 6-1/4 inch or about 16cm wrist at its current length. The case is stamped with its model number between the lugs at 12:00, 69190 then with a serial number in the 9.8 million range at 6:00 dating it to 1987. These numbers match the warranty paperwork, original Birks warranty book and original hang tag. It has a brand new sapphire crystal in place and tested water proof at the time of service.
Dial: Stunning and rare factory printed original black dial with baton style hour markers and matching hands. Signed in white, Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified, Swiss Made. The date can be quick-set by pulling the crown out one step.
Movement: Chronometer grade Rolex caliber 2135 automatically wound movement in superb cosmetic and mechanical condition, freshly serviced here at Meticulous and keeping excellent time with our full 1 year mechanical warranty. Box & Papers: Complete and matching original set of boxes and paperwork with the outer box still bearing its model number sticker (69190). Matching numbers on all of the paperwork and hang tags. Rare to find in this meticulously kept condition. A couple of Birks service receipts from 1994 are also included. All in excellent cosmetic condition making this a very collectible example.
