A beautiful vintage Omega Automatic dress watch with rare oversized solid gold "caped" case and an elegant guilloché style engraved dial. This classy dress watch from the early 1950's is in wonderful condition throughout, freshly serviced by our watchmaker and ready to wear. At 36.5mm in diameter it has a very bold look with a wide bezel and heavy lugs giving it a real presence on the wrist, a rare oversized design from an era when 30 to 34mm diameter men's watches was the norm. The high quality caliber 351 automatically wound movement within is also in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition with incabloc protection on the balance, making it a perfect choice for everyday wear. A very classy, yet solid vintage timepiece in amazingly well preserved condition throughout.

Case: Oversized two-piece screw back case made of heavy Staybrite stainless steel, with thick solid 14k gold "cap" or layer over the bezel and lugs. Measures 36.5mm in diameter excluding the Omega signed crown and comes on a beautiful new 18mm wide strap. Signed inside the back Omega Watch Co, Fab Suisse, Swiss Made, 2657 2494 2521-12SC, Acier Staybrite.
Dial: Stunning original factory printed dial with silvered background and beautiful guilloché style engraved details around the edge. Applied gold bow-tie and baton markers, signed Omega Automatic, Swiss Made. Original Dauphine style hands are also in superb bright original condition.
Movement: High quality calibre 351 automatically wound "bumper" style movement in excellent condition throughout. Signed Omega Watch Co, Swiss, 17 Jewels, 351 with serial number dating the watch to 1951. Fully serviced by our watchmaker and in excellent working condition.
