One of the cooler case design from that era this lovely Lecoultre "Mark 7" has a wonderful vintage look and lots of character. The original un-refinished dial shows some signs of ageing which gives this watch that classic vintage feel. The top of the 2-peice screw back gold filled case is in excellent condition with only a couple of minor marks. The back of the lugs do have wear through the gold to the base metal but this is not visible when on the wrist. The power reserve window near 12:00 rotates to show the wearer the number of hours left until the power in the automatically, or manually wound mainspring is exhausted. With 12 hours left the dial turned from white to red to indicate the danger of impending power loss. This high grade classic LeCoultre design is a perfect piece for everyday wear for the vintage watch enthusiast at a great price.
