Case: Solid stainless steel case with solid gold bezel and thick gold cap over the main body in excellent overall condition. The case measures 34mm in diameter excluding the signed screw-down crown and comes on its original, electroplated Oyster style bracelet, which does some some pitting on the back. This watch will also look fantastic on a leather strap as an alternative to the bracelet. The back of the case is signed Stainless Steel, then inside Montres Rolex, SA, Geneva, Switzerland, Patented, Swiss Made, KB, Stainless Steel Back, 1550.
Dial: Beautiful factory printed original blue dial with rare Shantung (also known as Mosaic or Brick) textured background, named after its resemblace to the texture of Shantung silk fabric.
