A stunning early 1970's Rolex model 1603 in wonderful all original condition featuring a rare pie-pan slate gray Sigma signed dial with 18K white gold markers and hands in a stunning 36mm solid stainless steel case with freshly serviced Rolex calibre 1520 movement keeping great time within. This watch looks absolutely gorgeous on the wrist with light honest wear to the case and a very sharp overall look, especially that near mint dial. The perfectly aged deep cream tritium luminous dots complete that perfect vintage look.

Case: Stunning solid stainless steel case measuring 36mm in diameter excluding the original signed screw down crown with engine turned bezel all in beautiful lightly used condition with minor surface wear throughout and just a couple of slightly deeper nicks near 4:00 and on the back. Signed between the lugs at 6:00 with the serial number in the 3551XXX range dating it to 1973 with the model number 1603 is stamped at 12:00. Inside the back is fully signed Montre Rolex S.A. Geneva, Switzerland, Patented, Stainless Steel, 1603. Comes on a beautifully matched high quality 20mm grey/blue leather strap with generic stainless steel buckle.
Dial: Absolutely stunning near mint original factory printed dial with grey background, white printing and original tritium luminous on dial and hands. Signed Rolex, Oyster Perpetual, Datejust, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified, O' T Swiss T O'. The Sigma markings beside each T indicate the 18k white gold content of the hand applied hour markers, coronet and hands.
Movement: Superb high grade Rolex in-house caliber 1570 automatic movement in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition.
