A stunning two-tone 18k gold & steel 1987 Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master with rare "Tiger Eye" dial, sharp original bezel with lightly faded insert on an unpolished case with Jubilee style bracelet. The dial is spectacular as you can see with gilt gold printing and its original gloss finish giving a very deep brown-orange tone in some light varying to a much lighter root beer brown when reflected on white.  A stunning timepiece on the wrist with its Rolex calibre 3075, quick-set date automatic movement freshly serviced and keeping chronometer grade time.  It comes with our full 1 year mechanical warranty, pressure tested waterproof and ready to wear.

Circa: 1987

Style: Sport

Case: Solid stainless steel case with factory original 18k gold bezel and insert measuring 40mm in diameter excluding the original crown and guards.  The watch measures 13mm thick including the domed plastic crystal. The condition is superb with sharp flat sides, small champers and crisp notches in the bezel, showing very light signs of wear.  Stamped between the lugs at 12:00 with the model number 16753 and serial number at 6:00 dating the watch to 1987.  Inside the back is also fully signed Montres Rolex S.A. Geneva, Switzerland, Stainless Steel 16750 (correct for this model). The two-tone 18k and steel bracelet is also in very nice sharp condition and signed on the clasp with its model number 62523H.18 with date stamp J12 or December of 1985.  The clasp has a few light marks, but overall it looks and feels superb on the wrist.

Dial: Factory printed original Rolex GMT-Master gilt dial with a deep brown "tiger eye" style gloss finish and rare non-nipple style, large gold surround tritium markers with date aperture at 3:00.  This is a fascinating dial as its look can change dramatically in different light, from a deep orange-brown in less light to a soft medium brown in bright or white reflected light. I love the gilt/gold printed details with the softly patinaed markers and lightly faded bezel insert, such an awesome unique look!  The original hands are also tritium filled and tested under black light to match the dial luminous exactly in look and fade, although they have not aged quite as much so appear slightly more white in comparison.  The champagne date disk is also original with open 9's and 6's.

Movement: A Rolex calibre 3075 transitional automatic movement with the upgraded quick-set date feature compared to is calibre 1575 predecessor used in the 1675 series GMTs.  This example is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition, freshly serviced here at Meticulous and keeping superb time with our full 1 year mechanical warranty.  Fully signed Rolex S.A. Geneva, Swiss, 3075, Adj. 5 Positions & Temperature.
