A beautiful solid 18k gold and steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date from 1970, featuring a sharp champagne colour original factory printed dial with fancy black accented hour markers, housed in a lovely 34mm stainless steel case with solid 18k engine turned bezel. Case: Solid stainless steel case measuring 34mm in diameter excluding the original Rolex 18k gold capped screw-down crown. Stamped between the lugs with the model number 1505 at 12 o'clock, then a serial number in the 2.6 million range at 6 o'clock, dating production to approximately 1970. The inside case back is also stamped Montres Rolex SA, Geneva, Switzerland, Patented, Stainless Steel, with the correct series number 1500, and the matching production date of IV.70, or the last 1/4 of 1970. The 19mm lug spacing is fitted with its a beautiful solid 18k with steel, Oyster style bracelet reference number 78350-19 with 457B endlinks. It has a total of 13 total including the endlinks and will fit up to a 6-1/2 inch wrist. It is a genuine Rolex service bracelet that was added in the lat 1990's as the stamp Z3 means it was produced in 1997. The watch and bracelet each have even wear from gentle use with some light stretch on the bracelet links. Overall excellent condition with nicely brushed and polished finishes.
