Case: Solid sterling silver bezel with screw on stainless steel back signed Rolex. Military inscription reads E.S. Burvill B112084 (Battalion Number). Measures 29.3mm diameter. 15mm strap.
Dial: Original factory printed dial with outer luminous numbers, seconds track and outer 24 hour dial in red. Signed Rolex Skyrocket, Shockproof.
Movement: Immaculate Rolex Caliber 59 indirect center seconds manual wind movement signed under the dial Rolex Geneve and on bridge plates Swiss Made 17 Rubis. Recently serviced and in excellent working condition.
This World War 2 era Rolex military watch is in beautiful all original condition and has nice military engraving on the back. Rare sterling silver case is still in good shape and has that great vintage look. The dial is very bright with with only a very slight patina. The original hands look great and are just missing a small amount of luminous. I love the sharp red 24 hour track and extended center seconds hand. A superb vintage Rolex collector piece in very hard to find condition.
