A wonderful 1968 Tudor Prince Oysterdate 200m/660ft Submariner with awesome an vintage feel featuring an original blue "blister" dial with snowflake style hands and gorgeous original ghost bezel on a solid stainless steel case with original Oyster style bracelet. This watch has such a cool look on the wrist, accented with the famous 7021 roulette red/black date display just to add that extra touch of colour to an already beautiful design. Freshly serviced and keeping excellent time this is a wonderful vintage dive watch from the famous house of Tudor/Rolex, ready to wear!

Case:
Solid stainless steel case measuring 40mm in diameter excluding the original signed screw-down crown. Stamped on the back Original Oyster Case By Rolex Geneva with Montres Tudor SA, Geneva-Switzerland, Patented, Stainless Steel with correct model code 7528 and production date code 1.68 (1st 1/4 of 1968). The original bezel with fat-font insert is superb with "ghost" fading on a semi-matte finish with a lovely light blue/lavender hue. It rotates smoothly in both directions with perfect friction and silver colour pip at 60. Between the lugs at 6 is stamped the serial number 738XXX with the model number 7021/0 stamped at 12. Good used vintage condition with some chamfers still showing but certainly polished at some point in its history. The crystal was replaced and the watch was tested fully waterproof at time of service. The 7836 Rolex bracelet with 280 endlinks is correct for this model and shows light wear throughout with some stretch and surface scratches, but functions perfectly well on the wrist. 15 total links including the endlinks will fit up to a 7-3/4 inch wrist.
Dial: Original factory printed dial with a wonderful deep blue backgound and beautifully aged coffee cream colour luminous markers, fully signed Tudor Prince Oysterdate, 200m=600ft, Submariner, T Swiss T with roulette red/black date display at 3:00. It is a common occurrence from natural aging that the dials made in this serial number range develop a textured, blistered surface as you see this one has. This adds a lot of detail to the dial and a fantastic vintage feel to the watch overall. On this example the texture is even and stable throughout with a few small chips around the edge. The original Snowflake style hands also have the correct original tritium luminous fill and are also in excellent light aged condition.
Movement: High quality ETA calibre 2484 automatic movement with KIF shock protection and correct and original Tudor Auto-Prince signed rotor. Freshly service and in excellent working condition, keeping great time. Comes with our full 1 year mechanical warranty.
