Freshly serviced here at Meticulous this stylish Rolex sports model is keeping chronometer grade time, ready to wear and features a near mint factory printed black dial with matching hands in a 40mm stainless steel case with 24 hour bezel and Oyster style 78790 bracelet with solid endlinks. With a few light signs of wear throughout it has a classic vintage feel on the wrist. Powered by the in-house designed and manufactured Rolex 3185 automatic movement this timepiece is set to serve for many generations to come.

Case: Solid stainless steel case measuring 40mm in diameter excluding the crown and crown guards with 20mm lug spacing fitted with a solid link Oyster style 78790 bracelet. The sapphire crystal is in mint condition held in place with the original 24 hour bezel, also in superb lightly worn condition. The case looks to have been lightly polished at some point in its history with signs of the original chamfers on the lugs still present. Just one small ding on the side/back of the 2:00 lug to note, only really visible from the back. The original signed crown screws down nicely to the case. The bracelet is in very night tight condition with 14 total links including the endlinks and just a few marks throughout. The watch is unpolished since we acquired it.
Dial & Hands: Near mint factory printed original gloss black dial with large Super-Luminova markers and matching original hands. Signed Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer II, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified, Swiss Made. The red 24 hour hand can be set independently and is used to quickly rotate 24 hours to change the date.
Movement: The chronometer grade Rolex in-house calibre 3185 movement is also in superb cosmetic and mechanical condition having just been service here at Meticulous Watches.
