Case: 3-piece gold plated window back case with inner skeletonized deco style numbers and markers which hold the movement in place.
Dial: Original factory printed inset textured dial with minute track signed Valory Geneve 17 jewels.
Movement: Gold plated 17 Rubis center seconds movement signed Valory, Swiss.
This is an unusual deco era timepiece with a wonderfully styled case design The gold plated number and markers under the crystal are sculpted in metal and attached to the middle body of the case. An early example of a skeleton style watch with window back so viewing of the movement is easy. A feature now in common use, but very scarce in the 1940's. Sweet watch, great price!!
