An absolutely stunning and unique tropic dial Zenith with fancy bold Art Deco style luminous numbers in a stylish solid stainless steel case. One of the coolest vintage Zenith case designs I have seen and the tropic fade of the dial from its original black to now a sparkling deep-medium brown is truly incredible on the wrist.  Powered by the famous Zenith caliber 106 manual wind movement this timepiece is of superb quality in every regard, unpolished, fitted with a perfectly matched simple deep brown leather strap and freshly serviced with our full 1 year mechanical warranty, ready to wear.

Circa: 1945

Style: Art Deco, Military

Case: Solid stainless steel 2-piece case with fancy stepped bezel and horn lugs measuring 35mm in diameter excluding the slightly inset crown. I believe it is unpolished and shows light surface wear throughout with just a couple of scratches from an arrant case wrench on the back to note. The inside case back is signed Stainless Steel, Zenith Watch Co, Swiss.

Dial: Absolutely incredible factory printed original dial that has naturally faded to a deep brown hue, a phenomenon that the watch world has named tropic.  The hour numbers are in a bold, Art Deco style with sector like hour markers alternating and sub-seconds at 6:00.  Signed Zenith, Swiss. Original stainless steel hands have perfectly matching luminous to the dial, also in superb condition.

Movement: Inside a hermetic dust cover we find the high grade Zenith in-house calibre 106 manual wind 15 jewel movement with incabloc protection and in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Freshly serviced here at Meticulous and in excellent working condition, with our full 1 year mechanical warranty.
